Kleinpenny Rentals wanted their website to match their reputation. While Kleinpenny's excellence in providing rental housing had earned them a 5-star rating on Google Reviews, they realized their several-years-old website didn't reflect the high quality of their brand. Michael Kleinman and Ann Moneypenny, Kleinpenny’s owners, had a vision of a website with an interactive map on the front page, easy search features, an attractive display of images and video for each property, and several behind-the-scenes features to simplify site administration.

By harnessing the power of Drupal 8, the Kosada development team implemented a new website that:

  • looks sharp on both phones and laptops, with mobile-friendly image and video display
  • features an interactive map that highlights their rental properties
  • provides new interfaces that streamline text and image changes
  • makes it easier to send group e-mails to different groups of renters
  • adds several search optimization features.

To increase the new site's visibility and rank in search engines, the Kosada team used several different techniques, including optimizing the page load speed, adding AMP pages, inserting specific metadata, and using rich snippets.

Jaymie Strecker, Kosada's primary sitebuilder for the project, remarked, "It’s rewarding to work with a local company that’s so passionate about offering great service to their tenants. Michael and Ann chose to be very involved in designing the website, making it a collaborative process."

After the new site was up Ann and Michael wrote, “From the detailed quote after our first meeting to the final revisions after the site’s launch, we were impressed with the dedication and attention that Kosada offered us. They created the site in a very timely manner and provided excellent email, phone, and in-person communication. We’re thrilled with the end result and very happy we made the decision to have Kosada design and host our site.”
