CooperVision, a leading contact lens maker, has subsidiaries in dozens of countries. In 2012, CooperVision undertook an initiative to harmonize its brand and web experience, regardless of the country. CooperVision wanted to consolidate all websites, including their multilingual websites, onto a single Drupal-based platform. This way, updates could be easily pushed out to all countries and unify branding and functionality. Kosada was able to help CooperVision create an adaptable website platform.
CooperVision sought a team with strong programming and database skills and experience building custom Drupal modules from scratch, since the platform needed to be flexible and powerful, as well as deployed in several languages. CooperVision put out a call for Drupal expertise, first to better understand the scope of the problem. Kosada responded, and was selected to analyze the problem, work on the solution, and integrate new features such as a practitioner locator.
