project ruori performed a viola piece called "Sparrow" at the electro-music event, using visuals mixed on the fly as part of their stage show. Kosada's Steve Mokris ran the live sound and visual setup as well as the audio recording, while Beth and Matt ran video cameras. In order to capture the feel of the viewing experience, in editing and post-processing we assembled a video using not only footage of the performance, but also blends of overlapping layers of visuals culled from the library of clips used in the original presentation.Read more
Kosada worked with AACS to edit down several hours of footage of their annual GenerAsian Next teen workshops into a short video to show to their board of directors. The video summarized the day's presentations and diversity forums, martial arts and tea ceremony demonstrations, skits, music, and dancing, and showed the board of directors what a success the event was.
Brian Shotzbarger, an aspiring independent filmmaker, shot this reel of material for various short films. An admirer of French New-Wave cinema, he came to Kosada for help putting the right finishing touches on this set of projects.
Kosada lead Steve Mokris provided Brian instruction in the use of video production tools such as Final Cut Pro. He also provided feedback on aesthetic matters such as color correction, clip splicing, and transition sequences. Finally, he contributed to the arrangement, performance, post-production, and syncing of the film score.Read more
