Matt Radcliffe — Software and Database Developer

Matt Radcliffe - Database designer and Windows apologist

Matt Radcliffe is a software and systems analyst with experience providing custom solutions including training and support for small to medium businesses from coast to coast. He has worked in the healthcare, insurance, finance, and manufacturing industries understanding business processes that get to the bottom-line — increasing revenue. Additionally, he has collaborated with Kosada on web-based projects, software development, process planning, and IT grunt work.

Originally from San Francisco, CA, Matt received a Bachelor's degree from Denison University in 2004 and speaks Japanese. He is knowledgeable in a variety of programming languages including PHP, PERL, and C, as well as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Open Systems Accounting Software, and Crystal Reports.

He is also experienced with module development for Drupal 4.7, 5.x, 6.x, and 7.x.

Bradley Mellen — Software Developer

Bradley Mellen graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Ohio State University, as well as being a talented performing bassist and cellist, and active member of Kosada’s development team. He has worked on such customizations for Drupal websites as the Role Referral Drupal module.

Jaymie Strecker — Software Developer

Jaymie Strecker designs and develops software, from cute mobile apps to big frameworks. She helps out with project management, documentation, end-user support, and training. Her skills are diverse — building apps with Cocoa, Qt, and Java; writing plugins for Quartz Composer; making websites with Drupal; automated testing; technical writing; and, yes, improving diversity. Jaymie has a bachelor’s in math and computer science from the College of Wooster and a PhD in computer science from the University of Maryland.

Jean Marie Cackowski-Campbell

Jean Marie Cackowski-Campbell helps handle Kosada’s administration, marketing, and communications. She worked on and managed software development projects during her time in the Navy, as well as serving on five ships. She holds a Masters degree in Computer Science, and is getting back into software development, and learning Drupal. She also has degrees in Landscape Architecture and Biochemistry. One of her hobbies is growing fragrant roses.

Karl Henkel — Software Developer

Karl Henkel is a software developer and recent graduate of Ohio University. He has a background in a wide variety of fields, ranging from Quartz Composer plugins to 3d training simulations. Recently Karl has been helping with Quartz Composer patches and developing the occasional app. When he’s not slingin’ code, Karl is probably biking or watching kung-fu movies.

Melissa Egan — Software Developer

Melissa Egan joined Kosada as a software developer in 2012. Originally from California, Melissa received a Bachelor’s degree in computer science and a minor in linguistics from Pomona College, and an M.S. with a specialization in information assurance from the Naval Postgraduate School. Much of Melissa’s research has been in the field of natural language processing. Melissa is also partial to geocaching and pet rats.

Travis Moles — Community Liaison

Sometimes, when someone is really talented at something — let’s say creating an open-source multimedia artistic software program — it’s difficult to communicate how the software works to someone who is really talented at — let’s say art. The software developer exclaims with passion, “so you gotta use the metadata to tell the Vuo Compiler how to deal with your node class!” And the artist inquires with stately concern, “How do I turn it on?” It’s in this precious tension that Travis resides.

Job description: Peace and justice for all.
