Jaymie Strecker is a software developer with experience in industry and research. With Kosada she develops Cocoa and iOS applications, as well as Quartz Composer plugins. Previously she’s worked on software to help horticulturalists measure tomatoes, speech-language pathologists track usage of assistive devices, and college administrators assign students to courses. She’s also done IT support and been a visiting professor.

Jaymie received a Bachelor’s degree in math and computer science from the College of Wooster, and a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland with a thesis on software testing. She has experience working with Objective-C, C++, C, Java, PHP, Perl, MySQL, and Drupal. She’s an aficionado of feminism and Dance Dance Revolution.
